TUNGSTENWIRE
MOLYBDENUMWIRE
Diameters from 0.1 to 2 mm
Extremely fine and precise twisted
Here you will find the tungsten wires you need. Wires made of molybdenum and also made of chemical pure, thoriated or doped tungsten. 100 years of experience enable us to produce smallest diameters of wire – even at thoriated tungsten wires. This only works, if you deposit finest grain thorium oxide very
uniformly in the tungsten matrix. Only few are able to do that.
Of course, we provide all our wires also in multi-twisted forms. For special lamps we recommend our WG-wire, which is doped with potassium, aluminium and
silicon. If you cannot find here what you are looking for: special diameters or a very individual solution – please, just talk with us. Our experience can be very helpful for you. You will be better informed already by phone.
Wires for Evaporation Devices
The vacuum evaporation devices known today, like shuttles and spirals, were described on the previous page. Here we offer solutions made of wire. Wire of tungsten – mainly for evaporation of aluminium. Wire of tungsten alloys – for an even better corrosion resistance. Wire of molybdenum – for a higher service life.
Constantly twisted in coils, individually or black. All products which leave our factory are optimized for maximum service life, impress by a constant quality, easy mounting and excellent dimensional accuracy. The performance of a wire as evaporation device is solely based on the experience it is produced with.
100 years – TUNGSTEN TECHNOLOGY.
*Copper Tungston & Molybdenum are available in form of wires and rods of various sizes.
Wolfram Industrie specialise in the production and processing of tungsten and molybdenum.
Tungsten is the pure metal with the highest melting point and the second-highest boiling point. High density, hardness and strength are its key characteristics.
Molybdenum is a high-strength, ductile metal with the highest melting point in its period group at 3422°C. We produce materials, semi-finished and finished goods through complex processes including mixing, admixing, electric sintering & reduction, deformation & annealing processes.
